Salary: Circa £27,500 dependent on experience

YTL Developments UK Ltd has been formed to both develop Filton Airfield in Bristol and to grow to be a major UK player in property development. Our major redevelopment plans will transform the area into a vibrant, creative and stimulating environment. The development will include several thousand homes, employment space, a mixed-use town centre, schools, recreational facilities, a new transport hub and the YTL Arena Bristol. It is one of the most exciting regeneration projects Britain has seen for decades.
Construction is now underway for the first phase of development and YTL has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and eager planning and development executive to join our planning and development team. We need someone who pays careful attention to detail in the work they produce and will deliver this to a high standard, as you will be managing projects and assisting with the delivery of larger projects. In addition, the candidate will have good graphic skills and will support the team in the preparation of plans, diagrams and presentations for both internal and external communications. You will also assist in the administration/organisation of the planning and development team. The candidate will need to demonstrate relevant industry experience.
Sound like something you are interested in? The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the development process in a similar industry and will be experienced in supporting development managers in delivering large projects, while managing smaller independent projects when necessary. In terms of qualifications, you will ideally have a diploma or degree/postgraduate level of education with a background in architecture/planning development. It will benefit you to have a high level of experience in CAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, while also being competent with the likes of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. The team is highly collaborative; therefore, the candidate must demonstrate their ability to work in a team, provide overall support and show a passion to grow with the business.
