Who: our partners

To build a new future for Filton Airfield we are working with:

Gehl, the public space and community planners based in Copenhagen, New York and San Francisco.

Peter Brett Associates, transport consultants behind Reading Station, King’s Cross Central and Regent’s Canal Bridge.

Allies and Morrison,  masterplan lead and the architects and planners behind 100 Bishopgate tower, the Olympic Village, Kings Cross and the Royal Observatory.

Grant Associates, the landscape architects behind the award-winning Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and Wimbledon and Bristol Harbourside in the UK.

Fielden Clegg Bradley, the residential architects behind Accordia in Cambridge, the first housing project to win the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2008, and a mixed use development at the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Hayle Harbour, Cornwall.

Hydrock: award-winning multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy that works on projects in the built environment and infrastructure sectors.

Together we are working to deliver the first homes, office parkland and recreational space of Brabazon, Bristol.

When: our timeline

 

Our outline schedule is as follows:

  • October 2017 - YTL Developments secured resolution to grant outline planning approval for Allies & Morrison Masterplan
  • January 2018 - Cribbs Patchway New Neighbourhood planning agreement signed by five landowners, including YTL 
  • February 2018 - YTL Developments signs two site-specific planning legal agreements and secures outline planning approval
  • March 2018 - Feilden Clegg Bradley appointed as project architect for the first neighbourhood of 270 homes
  • April 2018 - construction of new Blenheim Roundabout site access commences
  • Winter 2018 - scheduled submission date of reserved matters application for the first residential neighbourhood 
  • Mid 2019 - target date to commence construction of first phase of 275 homes, new public park.
