YTL Developments launches The Heritage District: The second phase of new homes at Brabazon

19th September 2024

100 new, two, three and four-bedroom homes located at the historic heart of the former Filton Airfield will go on sale in October.

Following the success of the first phase at Brabazon, YTL Developments has announced that 100 new high-specification homes will be available for sale in early October.

The launch of the latest phase is the latest step in the transformation of this former Airfield into the most exciting new neighbourhood in the South West. With the first phase of new homes set to complete this year, the area of public green space now open, and work is underway on a new community hub at Hangar 16U, the launch of the second phase marks a major milestone in the development of this new urban community.

The homes at The Heritage District are designed by award-winning local architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios to cater to modern lifestyles.

Every one boasts intricate external brickwork, picture windows to maximise natural light and clever layouts that are designed for flexible living. Inside, much more is included as standard, from the latest Bosch appliances and underfloor heating, through to little luxuries like heated towel rails and fitted wardrobes in principal bedrooms.

These homes have also been designed with sustainability in mind. Set out on a network of ‘living streets’, residents will enjoy expanded access to outdoor spaces that bring people together, including shared gardens, public squares and play areas for children. The landscaping also boosts biodiversity and acts as sustainable drainage.

Finally, each property also features solar panels as standard, as well as air-source heat pumps, while gas-based heating is excluded entirely to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

Jon McDiarmid, Director at YTL Developments, said:

“The launch of The Heritage District is both an exciting step for Brabazon, but also a continuation of everything that has made this new neighbourhood such a success so far.

“The 100 carefully-designed, high-specification homes are crafted to meet the demands of modern living and set a new standard for sustainable, community-focused development.”
